As seen over the last few years, the United Arab Emirates is making a lot of progress. Especially the Emirate of Dubai has been experiencing a revolution with the coming of the Free Zones, Internet City, Knowledge Village, Media City, Medical Village and opening of free hold property ownership to all nationalities.

Mega Projects such as Palm Islands, Emirates Hills, Dubai Marina and many others led by major Real Estate Developers such as Emaar and Al Nakheel, are shaping Dubai's new face. The volume of investments in such projects is tens of billions of Dirhams. The Government of Dubai is actively working on different and effective models of free hold ownership for Non- Nationals and all these efforts mark pioneering steps to build a critical initiative.

To capitalize on this opportunity, WZCCME Group would like to promote a Trade Program with India and invite WZCCI investors to visit Dubai and explore the opportunities of doing Business in the UAE in April 2004. We know that there is no magic formula for success in business but with joint efforts from both sides, this program will succeed. As globalization progresses and with lifting of trade blocks and excellent communications, companies will have to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, build responsive organizations and move closer to core markets. Needless to say, that several companies from India have already set up operations in the Free Zones in the UAE including certain companies owned by Zarathushtis. This shows that great opportunities for enhanced cooperation and trade lie ahead of us and we would like to build strong business relationship with our members in India in order and generate placement and business opportunities for members on both sides.
