Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), April 28 - May 3, 2008.
WZCC – Mumbai Chapter in association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad conducted a unique Entrepreneurship Development Program for entrepreneurs in small and medium enterprises. The objective of the program was to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of these businessmen, who had not undergone any formal training in entrepreneurship or management.

World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce-Chicago (WZCC-C) event of "Celebrating Zarathushti Entrepreneurs and Business". This event would be held as a part of Silver Jubilee Celebrations event of the Darbe Meher of Zoroastrian Association of Chicago (ZAC) during August 30-September 1, 2008 in Chicago.

Every year, the WZCC honors individuals by awarding Recognition Awards in 3 categories - Outstanding Zarathushti Entrepreneur, Outstanding Zarathushti Professional, Outstanding Young Zarathushti Professional / Entrepreneur. The criteria for nominations for the year 2008 are available here. The last date for nominations is 31 July 2008. Please send in your nominations (the nominees need not be members of WZCC) and encourage your friends and relatives to do likewise before the due date.

The World Zarathushti Chamber of Commerce (WZCC), hosted a two-day event in Pune (Jan 12/13, 2008), to celebrate the Zarathushti spirit of enterprise.

WZCC Houston Chapter Proudly Presents a talk by Mr. Atul Vir, President Equator Advanced Appliances, on “How I became an Entrepreneur and why I can’t go back”, on Nov 28, 2007, at Madras Pavilion Restaurant.

The Youth Leadership Enhancement Program is an initiative of the 9th World Zoroastrian Congress.

The program offers community youth members between ages of 23 to 35 years an opportunity to be ‘Future Responsible Leaders’.

They will be selling their Parsi fashion products range like Garas, embroidered kurtis, table napkin range etc.

One Day Business Cell Seminar: It was a sultry Sunday morning – 15 July 2007 - when a band of 27 enthusiastic entrepreneurs descended on the Nehru Science Center, each one with a fire in his/her belly and an open mind. The Zoroastrian Society of Ontario (ZSO) was very pleased to host the XIV North American Zoroastrian Congress “IMPACT – Unleash the Spark Within!” The Congress was held in Toronto, Canada from Friday June 29 to Monday, July 2, 2007.

As part of IMPACT!, the WZCC Toronto Chapter had developed an interactive program for Friday June 29, 2007 to help you explore your entrepreneurial potential and work with event attendees in a real-world, business simulation game. Working with facilitators from Big Fish Interactive, you will develop business plans, marketing strategies, make production decisions, negotiate contracts and win market share in a fast moving environment.

WZCC Iran Region working committee to hold the 1st World Zarathushti Trade, Industrial & Cultural Fair. This fair is in the planning stage. We propose to hold this fair at Tehran somewhere in Mid September, 2007 for a period of 7 days.

He has already aggregated more than 50,000 names and addresses from published / public sources from all over the world. Please do take some time off to have a look at www.theparsidirectory.com, register yourself and your friends and relatives. If you have access to any directories online or offline or if you could put Yazdi in touch with someone who can help in furthering the process, he will assist in getting that data online, including conversion of data into electronic form, if need be.
